Where can I get a job if I have a lot of facial piercings?

Hot TopicWhere can I get a job if I have a lot of facial piercings?
yeah, that was my problem when i wass in highschool. now Im a married tattooed and pierced up mom to be that working on a being a artist and writer. I say stick it to the man. don't ever take out your piercings or cover up tattoos to work somewhere. I am so against that. its TOTAL discrimination. boycott that crap. you have a couple of options. Spencers, hot topic, places like that. a lot of places at malls don't mind. certain tattoo parlors need secretaries if they are busy. some places are okay with a few piercings. screw all them other places that want to discriminate against you for your looks. good luck, and dont let people bring you down, and dont give in to their crap.Where can I get a job if I have a lot of facial piercings?
if you are good in something doestn matter if you have piercings if your face,
If you live in area where this common, many places would likely hire you, not just specialty shops like tattoo parlors.

If you live in a more conservative area, then look for places that people with piercings frequent. I would think the managers there would be more likely to hire you. And customers woul be less likely to complain since they have piercings too.
maybe you could get a job in a piercing shop or a fashion or accessories shop.
You've greatly decreased your job prospects, and that sucks. however there stores aimed at the teenage market will probably hire you to give their store some 'cool cred' but other than that, realistically, you're pretty limited.
Claire's.
Tattoo parlour, piercing shop or a goth shop or a home business or call centre. You could wear clear invisible retainers you can't tell then.
tattoo and or body piercing studio
anywhere suits your profession, anti-discrimination laws must protect you. you can sue people if they don't hire you just because of your piercings.
You know, I really admire the attitude of Mary Moon above, but it's genuinely very difficult to get a job if you have a lot of facial piercings or any facial tattoos. That's why most people who go in for that look end up working in tattoo and piercing shops, etc.

You could always move to somewhere like Camden in London where there are tons of such shops. But basically you are very limited in your options. Health and safety regulations will prevent you from working in factories, hospitals etc. Prejudice will prevent you from working in anything customer-facing at most companies. Professional jobs will laugh you right out of the room.

I admire Mary Moon, who is fighting against this, but it's a tall order. There's a lot of prejudice in this world and I doubt the fight will be over in your lifetime or mine. Good luck, though.
in a piercing shop?
