B. different in Eastern and Western cultures.

C. the same throughout the world.

E. more similar in women than in men.

The facial expressions associated with particular emotions are: ?
All true.

A. Just about everything life-essential is learned in early childhood. This is a period of time where we need ways to express ourselves, one method being through facial expressions.

B. Well obviously different countries have different rules but facial patterns are universal (anger, happiness, sadness... etc.)

C. Well I just answered that.

D. I wouldn't know however I think that would be correct because adults tend to express themselves in a similar way instead of having different expressions for every feeling.

E. I dunno! The facial expressions associated with particular emotions are: ?
I believe the basic answer is ';c'; but there may be differences between cultures learned in childhood. d and e just seems wrong. I believe that facial expressions are due to thousands, if not millions years of use as non-verbal communication. This is more or less instinct which is inborn.
