Make your own toner - (1) fresh cucumber water (2) mix a few drops of essential oil into a bottle of clean water and place in refrigerator (use essential oil such as lavender for all skin type, tea tree oil or eucalyptus for acne and pimples, rose for dry and dehydrated skin)Aged late 20's ladies%26gt;%26gt; how do you maintain your facial skin supple, toned and zits-free?
Water is a good toner. Eat healthy, not deep fried fast food, or any fast food. Watch out for products that have perfume in it, can irritate the skin.

Genetic DNA is a factor for some; never get a zit.

I got this Neutrogena oil eliminating facial cleanser. Works fine for me. Acne gone downhill.

I think toner is a reason for companies to make more money, mostly water, alcohol, witch hazel, tea tree oil in it, plus dyes, fragrance. That's why I say water alone is good enough.

Don't bother with toner, unless your getting free samples from Clinique or any other larger than life make up counter at those upscale stores. IE: Macy's, Nordstrom etc. Go ahead and ask for free samples. Have a skin analysis.

Keep your hands off your face, leave zits and blackheads alone. Don't need the scars of leftover skin irritation. Use a kleenex to dab at any itchiness or sweat.
I'm no lady but I am in my late 20's. Eat less fatty foods and incorporate more Natural Vitamine E..Try Palm Fruit.
Beside the basic steps of daily skin care, cleansing, toning, moisturising and sun protection. Facial mask that suit your skin type should be done once or twice a week would be helpful.

Beside external factors, healthy life style also playing an important role. Some of the important points are ,

1) Drink at least 8 glasses of plain water a day

2) Avoid hot and spicy food

3) Eat more veggies and fruits

4) Exercise at least once a week

5) Sleep early and ensure at least 7 to 8 hours of good quality sleep
I use Clearasil daily face wash for sensitive skin in the morning and at night. Also I use Oil of olay eye regenerest cream and Neutrogena Oil free moisturizer on the rest of my face after every time I wash my face. Until I discovered this combination I had acne all the time. But every ones skin is different. I would suggest a dermatologist :)
