Native Americans, as well as Native Mexicans, and Native South and Central Americans are all descendant from Ancient Asian and Siberian people who migrated here during the last ice age.





While Native Americans vary by looks from tribe to tribe and from individual to individual, most of them do possess some general Asian facial features. Many have high, prominent cheek bones and a broad, half-circle dental palate. They also tend to have a slightly flattened nose bridge and a flatter, rounded nose; as well as slight epicanthic folds, which makes their eyes appear very almond shaped, or ';Oriental';. The structure of their face is overall on the broader, flatter side, and they usually have an olive complexion and black hair, like many modern Asians. I've noticed that Native North Americans tend to have a stronger, more squared jawline than other Natives of the Americas- but that's just my observation.





Of course, as I said, their features depend on their tribe, region, and generally vary by individual, so not everyone will have all or even any of the specific features they hold as a group.

Another common native american feature is a forehead that slopes back from the brow line. White people tend to have a very straight up and down forehead that only starts to slope at the hairline by comparison. I learned this when I was learning to sculpt figures. Report Abuse

Really and truly, this is a racist statement. Anyone who really knows and has been around Native Americans, knows that they look totally different depending on tribe and region.

Do you get the point! We need to stop stereotyping and saying things that overtly hurt other ethnics. Think about it; how do you think a Native American feels when he or she reads this question?





Do not say that he or she should not feel as such, for you cannot speak on their behalf.
Ok first of all... shawn is an idiot. What kind of society are we in that we can't have an intelligent conversation about racial diversities. I can't stand that when somebody is simply talking in a non-negative way about race...there always has to be someone who thinks it's racist! Nobody is saying a single thing negative about Native Americans. And of course we know that every Native American person looks different from another one as do whites and every other race... but they do have similarities as does every other race... yes, even whites (ex. whites have a lighter complexion, african americans have a darker complexion.... there's no denying that, and there's nothing racist about that simple fact).

I have never meet any 2 native americans that look similar, I think they are mixed withwhite in general because they are hard for me to tell different than whites (blue eyes and blonde hair some have)





Maybe back then natives looked darker but i don't know for sure
