If you're looking for something that's nice and practically free, make your own. Use oats (like from plain oatmeal) and honey mixed together. It sounds weird, I know, but it really works, and is basically the easiest thing to use. The oatmeal exfoliates your skin while the honey rejuvinates it. I use plain old Honey.


I just apply it to my face, avoiding the eye area and leave on for about fifteen minutes.





There is also the instant face lift.


You take the egg white, and only the egg white, of an egg and beat it until you start seeing that its making bubbles or foaming.


Then apply the bubbles to your face.


Leave on for fifteen minutes and wash off.


Your skin should feel tight and soft.





Don't waste the Yolk of the egg though.


Use it after wards for a moisturizing mask.


Again, avoid the eye area and leave on for fifteen minutes.


This leaves your skin soft and smooth.
I would type out all the instructions for some homemade masks, but I would probably mess them up, so I'll just give you the link to these videos from Michelle Phan. She is a licenced cosmetologist and I love getting tips from her! I have tried all of these masks and they work very well. Hope they help!

i dont think you are too young. there's nothing wrong with removing facial hair that you dont want. but since you are 12 i would just make sure that your parents are cool with it. i know my parents were always pretty strict with me and didn't like it when i would just do things without at least letting them know. but if you do use that cream be sure to follow the directions because if not it can irritate your skin. i think most of them say not to leave them on for more than 10 minutes. also, if you are going to use it i would do it at night because sometimes your skin can stay a little red afterwards so if you do it at night you'll give it time to clear up by the morning. also, once you do this be prepared to keep having to do it. it's just like with shaving your legs. once you start you cant stop because the hair will usually grow back thicker.Is 12 too young to remove facial hair?
It's toally up to you, but once you get started you can never stop, and it'll get worster and become more noticeable, you should bleach it maybe instead.

If that is your pic on your profile, pretty common for blonde or light brown haired guys to have slower beard growth than dark haired guys. Just genetics. Of course the easiest thing to do is ask some older male relatives on both sides of the family when they started shaving. I had blonde friends that were barely shaving at 18 while I had to shave daily and could have grown a full beard at 13, I have thick dark hair and am generally hairy.

hi, i think i have the same problem before. i can't really say it's pimples, but it's more of rashes which gets really red at times. i thought of it as eczema of the skin and after researching, i found out that sometimes, our skin reacts to the ingredients of our soap and shampoo, because even if they say they are mild and natural, there are still chemicals in it. so what i did was i resorted to local handmade soap made with organic and all natural ingredients, and believe it or not, i am now enjoying a flawless face. better try it!

Well, I'm 25 and I've had a few done and I don't regret any of them. I had my nose done and I ended up taking it out when I got a cold. I kept losing the stud every time I'd blow my nose! I don't regret that one, it was just a pain in the butt to keep the jewelry in.





I've also had my ones above and below my lip. I ended up taking those out because they messed with my gums too much. I kinda miss my labret, though. =(

I got my eyebrow pierced in the summer of 2002, right before my senior year of high school. They enforced a new policy at my school about facial piercings, and while it seemed like everyone ELSE wore spacers, I wasn't allowed ... I just had to take it out because I was kind of active in student council type stuff. At the time I was pissed, but thinking back I am glad I didn't have it in very long. I still have the scar because it got a little infected in the few shorts months I had it, but it could've been worse. It's only noticeable if you look at it closely.





I would definitely consider getting it done again if I were able to be independently employed ... but you know how that goes.
I'm 22. I've never regretted any piercing I've ever gotten. Where I've taken piercings out, theres just a tiny little scar that no one really notices. I know it's there, but most people don't see it unless I point it out. I still have most of my piercings, I've had to take some out for my job. But when I move again, I'm getting them redone. I love them.
I still wear it %26amp; get plenty of positive feedback about it.
I had my nose pierced. I took it out a year ago. I'm 21, had it done at 17 so I regret it. Its not me anymore. There is no hole but there is a small indent in my nose where it once was. Looks odd.
The holes heal up. I do not regret mine although I had to take it out long ago for work. I wish I could have mine back. (Lip) My husband also had his done and loved his, but he is thirty now and feels too old for it. There is no hole in his face, just a tiny itty bitty scar. No big deal. If you are going to get piercings then in your 20's is the time to do it.
I had my labret (lip) pierced, and now there's a very tiny spot where it was pierced. I acutally didn't want to get rid of it, but I took it out for work, and couldn't find it, so it's closed, I think.





I don't think I would have ever regretted it though, because, as a man, i have facial hair where the piercing was, so it wouldn't be noticable. I kind of miss it, acutally.





I was never big into the eyebrows and all that jazz though. Just one stud through my bottom lip, that's all I needed.
I have my tongue pierced and so far I don't regret it. It's still pretty new.


I did my nose when I was about 15 and took it out soon after because my mom and my boyfriend (who is now my husband) kept giving me crap about it. My husband really didn't like it. He said he liked my face the way it was. He has always been against me getting any visible facial piercings. I think he only agreed to the tongue because it's not visible and out of curiosity.


Oh, and I have no scar from the nose piercing. But it wasn't in very long either.
Nope I don't regret them at all! I've had my eyebrown pierced since I was 18, my nose pierced since I was 20 and my tongue since I was a senior in high school and am now almost 23. I love em!

OK to exfoliate before a facial mask?

First of all I'm a guy - is it ok to exfoliate with one of the little bufpuf things i got while i wash my face, then shave, and then apply a facial mask - all in the same day?? The mask has alpha hydroxy type stuff in it supposedly for exfoliation purposes in the ingredients.. although I doubt much.OK to exfoliate before a facial mask?
Okay. Alpha Hydroxy is a chemical exfoliant, which basically means that it uses chemicals to irritate away dead skin as opposed to using little beads to manually scrub it off. It can be a little more drying, so make sure you apply moisturiser after you use it. Those netty little buff puffs don't really do much exfoliation-wise, but shaving is really tough on your skin. So if your skin is dry or sensitive, i wouldn't do all three at the same time. But if you shave in the morning, it's probably fine to use the face mask at night.... gives your skin some time to recover.

You can buy a cream bleach that's designed to use on your face. If it is hair on your upper lip, it's better to just pluck it out...a blonde moustache doesn't look any better on a girl than a brown one. Plucking will not hurt as much after you get used to it. Boil 3-4 cups of water and add 2 tsp soda bicarbonate to this. Steam a towel with this and place the towel on the face. Repeat 5-6 times. Now rub the face in the area of the blackheads with a paste of 1 tsp curd mixed with 1 tsp of rice flour. Wash with cold water.





Tips 2:





Rub a pinch of table salt mixed with a pinch of the soft soggy portion of a glycerin soap. (Pears) Rub well into the blackheads. Repeat for a week.

Take 1 tsp of fresh coriander leaf juice with ½ tsp of turmeric powder. Apply this at bed time and wash in the morning. Repeat for a week.

K Im allergic to sunscreen so I seriously know what Im talking about here.


In fact I was at the beach two days ago and got burned as well.





First: Steep a black teabag in ice water for three minutes. Then take the teabag, and slowly(and gently!) run it over the burned areas. Keep dipping it back in the tea and applying it to the burn until you have thouroughly saturated your skin. Let it dry. (This works because the tannic acid in the black tea helps to literally draw the burn up from your skin. It works, I swear.)


Second: Get a cotton ball or cotton pad and soak it in Apple Cider Vinegar. Gently apply it all over on top of the dried tea. This will prevent the skin from blistering and in most cases stop it from peeling before it even has a chance to start. Yes, you will smell awful, buts its worth it in the long run.


Third: If its still severe, you can use an aloe vera gel thats been in the fridge. I dont generally do this, but some people do, its really just up to you.


Hope this helps you! I know its alot but it really does work and it heals burns the fastest.








Note that if your going to go somewhere, only use the tea and aloe vera, and save the smelly vinegar for nighttime. And depending on how fair you are, you may need to carefully wipe off the dried tea with cool water before you go somewhere because it can darken your skin a bit. (Only while its on, nothing permanent)





Also, if it hurts REALLY badly, take a couple of motrin, which will help with the inflammation.

my child did the same thing but her forehead only last summer at a soccer tournement.


the same night you couldnt see anything, but the next morning it looked like a layer of skin was dead. me and my hubby took her immediatly to the local urgent care, first come first serve. (not a life or death er, just if your doc is unavaileble :P) they saw her first even though there was at least a 45 min wait! they notified a burn center and they brought someone down with all the supplies immediatly, like in 20 min in an ambulance, she needed treatment fast! we got burn cream, turned her face purple about a 1/2 hour. went back, said its okay, but if she wants she can just put a generous, thick layer of polysporin on it if she would go out; but wayyyyyyy better to use the burn cream.





i recommend you go to a doctor soon!
In Saint Thomas, I looked like a LOBSTER on the back of my legs, so I bought this cream thing. It comes in a clear blue bottle with a red saftey cap and it has a red cross on it. It feels cold on your skin, even when it's not kept in a refridgerator. Here's the secret...ALOE. It helps it to go away quicker and the coldness makes it feel so much better for a few hours. Do it every 3-5 hours, and if it is really THAT severe, try waking up every 2-3 hours at night to apply it. But read the back of the bottle first, because I have no idea how long you are supposed to wait before you apply another 'coat'. = ]
I had a really bad sunburn and used aloe vera gel with Lidocaine and tea tree extract. Mine is from Ocean Potion and i found it at Walmart.

You can wreck your follicles, but definetly not by shaving. Only by waxing, tweezing, or permanent hair removal. You actually have to go in and zap it with a laser to kill it, or you have to repeatedly pull the hair out of the follicle as it grows. This second process takes years to cause damage to the follicle.
